I qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2005 with a distinction in Oral Health. I have since completed a post graduate qualification in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. I have a special interest in cosmetic and computerised dentistry. I am one of a few UK graduates to have completed the entire essentials curriculum at the renowned Pankey Institute in the USA and I have used this knowledge to complete numerous other post graduate training in Cerec technology and same day smile makeovers.
Providing patients with the care and clinical guidance when choosing a treatment plan is the most important stage. Allowing patients to make informed decisions about treatments to access the long term benefits is why I love my job.

Since qualifying he has centred his learning on advanced restorative dentistry, orthodontics and occlusion, having completed the Pankey Institute's Essentials Programme representing almost 200 hours of post graduate training in Miami, USA. He is currently completing a master’s degree in orthodontics and regularly attends orthodontic courses throughout the country. This allows multidisciplinary treatment planning such as pre-prosthetic and pre-implant orthodontics to be a straight forward process.

After qualifying I worked in the NHS to get a sound experience in all aspects of general dentistry, including oral surgery. In 1992 I embarked upon a post graduate education in cosmetic and implant dentistry. Having completed hundreds of cosmetic cases and satisfied patients I felt challenges lay ahead in implant dentistry to restore missing teeth without having to cut down further teeth to restore them by bridges. The last 20 years have been
devoted to intensive training courses here and in the USA in Implantology including certificate in Implantology with Dr Hilt Tatum father of implant dentistry.

After qualifying from Liverpool University, I have embarked on a path of continued development in the fields of root canal treatment. Since qualifying in 2005 I have always stayed up to date with the latest technological advances in the field of Endodontics. After a period of 4 years in general practice I entered onto a full time MSc training programme at Manchester University to complete a thesis on cone beam 3d Scanning in Endodontics. Using the most up to date technology allows me to gain better results in the field of Endodontics. Working as a referral endodontist across the country allows me to accept advanced root canal treatments from many other practices as well as treating all root treatments in house.

After graduating from The University of Liverpool in 2005 I moved back to Birmingham to work in general practice. Although I enjoy all aspects of dentistry I have a specialist interest in orthodontics.
I completed the Aestetic Restorative Course from Central England Referral Centre in 2008 which changed the approach towards dentistry. I completed my Masters in Orthodontics in 2019 from The University of Warwick.
I have been practising Orthodintics for over 10 years now and have experience in many systems. I have been to numerous courses to update my knowledge and skills.
I have been a registered Incognito provider since 2015 and have alot of experience in Lingual Orthodontics.
Outside of work I have been married for 12 years and have 3 children who keep me well grounded. When given the chance I enjoy running and playing football. I love watching movies to relax and unwind. I am currently learning to play the piano with my daughter.
Nida Khan - Dentist

Nida qualified from Birmingham University in 2013. He completed his vocational training in Luton and Bedfordshire. He has since worked as an associate in multiple practices in Birmingham and Manchester.
He has expanded his knowledge by attending extra courses for aesthetics and can provide short term orthodontic treatment (Invisalign and Quick straight teeth). He has also completed a Masters in Fixed and Removable prosthodontics at Manchester Dental Hospital. He wishes to compliment this master with a course in implants in the future. Recently appointed as a restorative clinician at the Birmingham Dental Hospital whose practice is limited to prosthodontics.
Nida enjoys all aspects of dentistry and aims to provide the best care and treatment for his patients. He is a firm believer in continuous learning and strives to keep up to date with the latest developments in dentistry.
In his spare time he enjoys travelling and playing sports. He is an avid Manchester United fan!
Keeley Thorne - Dentist

Keely graduated from the university of Birmingham. Since graduating, she has further improved her knowledge and skills by attending many courses and recently sat her part one MJDF exam.
Keely is enrolled on a year long "advanced restorative and aesthetic dentistry" programme at Kings university in London where she is utilising the latest techniques to provide minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry to her patients.
She is a certified Inman Aligner and Clear-smile aligner user, and uses these appliances to create natural looking smiles.
Outside of dentistry, Keely spends time with her 6 year old son Regan. She loves baking cakes and to keeping fit with swimming and running!
Helen Melling - Company Operations Manager
My name is Helen Melling and I am Company Manager for St Pauls Square Dental Practice. I have worked within the dental profession for 10 years now, and I am extremely passionate on providing patients with an excellent standard of care and treatment.
In my current role with St Pauls, I train and manage staff expectations by leading a team to deliver excellent customer service.
Managing patient expectations is a strong focus within the private dental industry, I like to co-ordinate patient treatment proposals whilst welcoming them to the practice.
In my spare time I enjoy visiting the theatre, reading and spending time with my family.

Patient care has always been my passion.
Prior to my dental career I gained a general nursing qualification from Bosnia, but found my true love in dentistry

I am Courtney, I joined St Pauls Square Dental Practice in August 2018 , I am a trainee dental nurse. I am hoping to qualify in December 2019.
I have learnt so much already and I am very passionate towards my course and job.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and visiting different places.
