What are Lumineers?
Lumineers are ‘contact-lens-thin’ porcelain veneers, they are painless, permanent cosmetic solution to stained, chipped, discoloured or misaligned teeth and can also be used to close gaps.
Because of their extreme thinness they are placed over existing teeth without requiring painful removal of tooth structure. You can get a beautiful new smile without having any drilling or injections. Each patient varies depending on the individual case and what treatment options are best for you. There would be no need for temporary veneers.
Lumineers are made of porcelain of which a shade is chosen to either match your natural tooth colour or you could choose to go a shade or two lighter and get that ‘Hollywood smile’. Two visits are necessary, the 1st visit is short visit taking impression then several weeks later you return to have the Lumineers bonded to your own teeth, giving you that perfect smile. They are made in worlds only approved laboratory in L.A., USA.
