Crowns by Dr Dinesh Vegad

CASE 2

Before After
This young lady had crowns on her three upper front teeth fitted some years ago.  The gums on the upper left incisor crowns were swollen red and painful; the gums bled profusely and also had a bad smell.  This oral health problem was due to very ill fitting crowns placed by another dentist.  Aesthetically they looked terrible and she also had two baby eye teeth.

Our dentist, Dr Dinesh Vegad, first removed the three crowns and fitted temporary laboratory-made crowns which were left on for three months to allow the gums to heal. Three permanent Zirconia crowns were then later placed on these three teeth.

The dentist also placed veneers on the upper right central incisor and on the two baby teeth.  The result was a beautiful, natural smile with no gum disease, bleeding nor smell - and no more prospect of loosing teeth through bad crown work.
